Cutleaf Evening Primrose (Oenothera laciniata)


A weak-stemmed annual or biennial to 36" tall.

Leaves alternate, lanceolate to oblanceolate, to 3" long, shallowly toothed to deeply lobed.


Flowers yellow, 4 notched petals, 0.3-0.7" long.

Bloom time: May-October.

Found in dry fields, gardens, and waste places throughout the eastern U.S. and TN. Frequent.
