Southern Chervil, Wild Chervil (Chaerophyllum tainturieri)



Downy, weedy annual to 30" tall, branched above. 

Leaves are alternate, 3-pinnately compound, to 5" long and almost as wide. 

Flowers are small, white and borne in compound umbels with 3-10" flowers per umbellet. 

Bloom time: March-April. 

Found in moist to dry soil. Widespread in the southeastern U.S. and TN. Common.
