Comments

Comments are encouraged and appreciated. We are amateur botanist, and we do make mistakes sometimes with our identifications. We strive to make this a good identifying resource. All comments are moderated by me and may take several days to appear. This is due to the high number of inappropriate comments that have nothing to do with this subject.

Search This Blog.

You can use the "Search This Blog" section to help you find the wildflower you are looking for. Any word that has been used on this blog is searchable. Some, but not nearly all, examples are:
  • Common name, e.g. "Buttercup".
  • Scientific name, e.g. "Ranunculus".
  • Color, e.g. Yellow.
  • Bloom month, e.g. May.
  • Photographic location, e.g. "Sycamore Ridge Ranch" would be my farm.
  • State park, e.g. "Old Stone Fort".
  • Native.
  • Non-native.
  • Invasive.
  • Poisonous.
Be aware that using search for "yellow" will return a lot of post. There are 169 yellow wildflowers posted here and the word is used in a lot more places. This would be a case when instead of using Search, you would just click on the "Label" yellow and be limited to just the 169 yellow wildflowers.
