Carolina Bugbane (Trautvetteria caroliniensis)

This wildflower is a member of the  Buttercup Family (Ranunculaceae).

The flowers of Trautvetteria caroliniensis have no petals, but have up to 100 white stamens radially surrounding up to 15 pistils.
