Sweet Betsy (Trilium cuneatum)

A couple of differences between cuneatum and sessile:
1. Cuneatum has blount stamens/sessile has beaked stamens.
2. Cuneatum has petals 3X length of stamens/ sessile has petals 2X length of stamens.
3. Cuneatum has sweet banana-like fragrance/sessile has strong carrion odor.
